One thing I've noticed over the years is that hub sealing rarely gets much attention — at least not until something starts feeling rough. All of that is genuinely interesting. But sealing tends to stay in the background, almost an afterthought. The funny thing is, sealing is often what determines whether a hub still feels good after a few seasons — instead of just a few rides.
